Acceptance of Terms
Your use of the RPM Challenge website represents an understanding and acceptance of the following terms. If you do not agree with the following terms, you should not use the RPM Challenge website.
The following terms may be updated occasionally, at Unpossible Creative Corp’s (“our”) discretion. Unpossible Creative Corp (“We”) will make reasonable effort to notify you of any substantive changes. We suggest that you regularly review the terms to ensure your continued understanding and acceptance.
If you are under 18, you must review the following terms with a parent or guardian. Your parent or guardian must give you permission before you register for the RPM Challenge.
Personal Information
Our website collects the following information for The RPM Challenge Project List:
• Artist or Band Name
• Email address
• Discord username
• Location information
• Project information (i.e., what you’re working on)
The Submission Form for the RPM Challenge collects the following information:
• Artist or Band Name
• Email address
• Discord username
• Project information (i.e., what you’ve made)
• Location information
• Links to your music online
You are also able to upload:
• Music files
• Record art
The RPM Challenge website also uses browser cookies. We use these only to help you interact with the site, not to gather any further personal information.
By submitting your audio files to us you consent to have them played, royalty-free, at our listening parties (online or in-person). You also consent to us making these files available on our website and our external music hosting accounts (RadioKing and Soundcloud). You can request to remove these files at any time by emailing us at info@rpmchallenge.com.
By default, project name, description, location and project information are viewable by other users on the RPM Challenge site.
Emails
Registering using the RPM Challenge Registration Form or Submission Form subscribes you to our mailing lists. We use a third-party service (Squarespace) for our mailing-list management, but your information is only accessible by the Unpossible Creative Corp and our Community Partners for the purpose of coordinating RPM Challenge regional events. You may unsubscribe at any time.
Donations
Unpossible Creative Corp is a registered nonprofit organization in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, corporation number 77547. We do not have charitable status however and cannot issue charitable receipts.
We occasionally offer opportunities to donate or purchase merchandise related to the RPM Challenge. These transactions are completed either using an external service or on a store platform hosted by our web hosts, Squarespace, with payment processing handled by Stripe or PayPal.
Data Protection
The information that we collect has been stored in secure locations and you may contact us to request a copy of all the information we possess.
We may occasionally share program-related offers on behalf of our corporate sponsors. These messages will be distributed via our email or content systems, not by the sponsors themselves.
We will not share any of your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Account Security
We make every reasonable effort to keep your information and content secure. We will not be held liable for unauthorized access to your personal information.
Intellectual Property
You will not knowingly share any content that has been created, copyrighted, and/or trademarked by another person or entity. We will immediately delete any content we determine to infringe on any copyrights.
RPM Challenge retains trademarks on the following:
• “RPM Challenge”
• “Record Production Month Challenge”
• The RPM Challenge logo and all derivations
Codes of Conduct
You will abide by any community Codes of Conduct on our sites and on our Discord server.
RPM Challenge Projects
Unpossible Creative Corp claims no ownership or copyright on projects shared with us by RPM Challenge participants, and will not be held liable for any content therein.
Third-Party Links
The RPM Challenge website may contain links to content hosted on other websites. We will not be held liable for any third-party content.
General Limitation of Liability
We will not be held liable for any damages associated, directly or indirectly, with your use of the RPM Challenge website.
