About

HyperSonic Bird is my debut alternative-rock album and my first time ever producing music (besides singing in the jungle). In December 2022, I was living in downtown Montreal, and thank heavens there was a guitar in the apartment. I somehow found the inspiration (or the necessity) to play, and for the first time in my life, I began writing songs. Every day, I worked out chord progressions, lyrics, and melodies, and it was surprisingly therapeutic to create this music – it seemed to generate a mysterious light inside my mind, and the entire journey, from scribbling lyrics in Montreal, to the point of mixing and mastering the final tracks, was truly amazing. The recording sessions, editing, and mixing, took place on Georgian Bay (Ontario), and I'm so grateful to have found the time and space to work on this project, and to have fulfilled this lifelong dream of producing music. Special thanks to Kristers Hartmanis (Latvia) for the exceptional drumming.

Favourite Moment

The moment I discovered the line, "and I fly like a HyperSonic Bird," was really special. The whole vibe of the song really came into being, and I felt better than ever.

Advice

I learned how to work with a DAW, and this was my first time ever producing songs.
