Sportsman Lucifer
THE TRUTH ABOUT SPORTS is a semi-autobiographical debut release. I'm too sick of it to write about it any more but I've never made music before.

Stupid Little Plastic Things
Controlled Chaos was created using randomized notes on randomized synths, and then edited manually. I am dedicating this album to Jason and his son KJ.

Cat In a Zoo
I wanted to make people feel lost and secure. My songs are born by this feeling. I was taught to follow rules and morals that I don't agree anymore, so what is me? I am the result of time and I live to make the best out of it. I made this album in my bedroom and I want to touch hearts.

Sunil K Chopra
I made an album of original music. This was about 90% written in February. I have had many of these musical ideas kicking around for about a year, but they were _far_ from being considered complete songs. I recorded this in my home studio using Ardour on Ubuntu. I used MIDI for drums and keys. I made it for everybody. I feel like there were some things that people needed to hear.

The Will of the Sun
I made an EP. I made it in my bedroom using nothing but an acoustic guitar and an iPad. I made it for anyone who wants to hear it.

Church of England
Just a get together with some fellow RPMers and we recorded a song together. Mixed and produced it in Feb. 2025

Law Offices of Davis and Dresnok
We wanted to work on collaboration and breaking out of our normal approach to recording music.

Lauren Finch
I wanted to create a composition with strings that was relaxing to listen to - almost like the musical equivalent of a sigh. I created this with sample libraries (so no real strings!).

Monopoli
I didn't have a lot of time this february so I decided to finish some stuff that was clogging up my laptop. I only managed to finish four songs but I plan to start finishing more stuff through the year, maybe put something online every month.

Charlotte Genest
I just picked up the guitar over the pandemic (!) and this RPM is the result of my partner lending me their loop pedal haha. Just a compilation of some of my highly random creations.
dusk cloak
Climb the crystal stair and lose track of time in an otherworldly excursion to a mythical sonic landscape.
Apples of New England
I just wanted to challenge myself to write and record something and share it.
Shuttermouth
This was inspired by a recent trip to Yo Sushi in Bristol. We were watching some other customers who were clearly unfamiliar and so we imagined ourselves in their position. Sushi Riot!
Girl Named Sam
A skin 'n bones draft for an upcoming comic called "Chance McGavin and the Black Lung Queen"
A Bit More Better Productions
I recorded it in Reaper using mostly mostly NI Kontakt instruments. It's about, the incessant march of progress, I guess.
Batty Ramselle
I dug deep and came up with some ideas, practiced opera singing and learnt / attempted Mongolian throat singing after a concept came to me. Made it for the pure pleasure, agony and ecstacy of it!
Wolfgang Merx
The record consists of fhree improvised Berlin School/Kosmische Musik live jams.
Natural Consequence
We made music to get us through the winter. Root song was played on an improvised guitar made of 200-year old barn wood and a gunpowder can.
Distinct Kicking Motion
I promised "35 minutes of sludge" and it turned into a concept album about isolation and escapism.
Hans Shenk
I made five instrumental tracks. They're not done, but the month is over. They're not really mixed or mastered, so even Gimbal has a shocking moment at the end. I was trying to capture a certain set of emotions from adolescence. Maybe the incoherent, unfinished nature of the songs is a reflection of that. Or just of my being busy in February.
Reverian
I intended on creating 7 songs spanning an album length. However, due to personal struggles, I lost out on long chunks of time that I could have workedon it. I kept at it and each song comes from a feeling that I was having the day of. Each song has words as well however I opted to not attempt recording vocals. All of it was recording in my home stone studio with guidance from friends. The artwork was designed by me.
Lectronin
I tried using a variety of approaches from recording using Logic on an iPad mini, to creating ideas on Ableton Move, to improvising on Ableton Push and Roland SH-4d. The variety and challenge of the different methods made the process more interesting and the songs a little more organic.
cereal milk
Finally wrapped up my RPM this year just in the nick of time and am pleased to share it with the community! These are songs about finding a home. About accepting past mistakes. About moving on. It’s an album about the long drive home from work. We hope you enjoy hearing it as much as we enjoyed making it.
Saucy Voxel
An experimental synthpop experience. It's my first LP. I learned some production techniques this month so I ended up experimenting with the ideas, then executing the ideas, and keeping everything. Really really fun album to make.
Δημήτρης Τσιρώνης / μελωφοβία
A beautiful process, making sounds to travel in your own microcosm. Then invite other people under the sun. A snapshot of my country today. Maybe...
Nigel Moss
This is my tenth RPM Challenge album, which is what the title "Where Did The Time Go?" is referencing (as well as the obvious reference to February zooming by) :)
northern comfort
I joined this challenge on a whim in the middle of February and did very little work on my song. This was all that I could muster with the actual time I spent. Also, I have no experience doing any of the production/ mixing for songs and have never released anything.
Endless State Machine
Produced by Me (aged 36) and Me (aged 20), late at night in two repurposed box rooms, decades apart. 'The Drone Variations' is my tribute to the works of Brian Eno, Steve Reich and Pink Floyd, to be listened to late at night when time seems endless. It's also a message in a bottle from me to me. Seriously, the record was inspired by the sound of a guitar sample I had discarded in my 20s... the sound of my old Samick through a simple echo pedal as I fell in love with the sustain produced by the overloading feedback circuit in my delay pedal as it would saturate. Revisiting the recordings as a much older man (with many more synths), I became fascinated with applying these dusty test recordings to new contexts and new technologies... New pieces fell out as throughout February '21 I furiously cut-up, restructured, re-arranged and relayered the tones time after time. Though the recording has an unresolved quality to it reminiscent of Brian Eno's ambient work, there are no loops (well, aside from a synth in track 1). It's all guided from the sophoric trace state I found myself in when my 20-year old self picked up that guitar and, too broke to afford a real loop pedal, decided to see what sustain tones I could get out of my echo pedal. (PS- listen to the full length version on Bandcamp).

I made a hit record! I thought I'd get more done, but I slapped this together today!
The Irregular Decagon
Psilocybin & the Psychonaut is an album that has intention. The intention is to connect my sound and artwork with people who use psychedelics to explore the mind. Furthermore, the message of the album is to remeber who you are, and to shine the inner light within. I hope this album inspires people to create somthing in their lives. The inspiration behind the music is my wife, son & daughter and all of the beautiful experiences in nature we've had together. I created the music with musicians from all around the world.
System of the Beat
Mixes and beats produced / arranged in mostly Groovepad, Garageband, & Bandlab, most vocals from Freesound.org. Thank you to all the artists who supply their great talents to freesound.org and all the great music apps out there. Thank you for listening. RPM ROCKS!!
Jeremiah Meece
It's a collection of weirdo/electro jams with a comedic undercurrent. Found out about the challenge in the last week of February so I just wanted to do something fun without fussing over it too much, which I would say I normally do. Pretty happy with the silliness that ensued.
Peter Benson
I built a home recording studio, learned to use DAW software, and wrote what I think are some pretty cool lyrics, all within this month. Looking forward to doing more now that I've set myself up!
The Lysergines
Three very unlikely companions spent more time than is sane brewing this concoction in a Berlin basement. Grab a mug and take a sip!
shieldeater
10 tracks of goofy/creepy grooves. i made it for fun and to teach myself a few things!
Mieremet
I started my moniker Mieremet 4 years ago for RPM, and keep going strong. Mixing opera vox with cleannoise! Cheers!!!
GJ WEST
Made on the dirtywave M8, (except the last 2 tracks) document of recent mental health shenanigans
