---|---|---|---|---|
A Herd of Turtles | Hannah | Jazz, Singer-Songwriter | This is the first time I put lyrics to one of my songs and the first time I recorded myself singing. I wrote the song to celibate my daughter Hannah’s wedding to her long time love Zach. | |
Aaron Parys | Distorted Configuration | Experimental | Started out going in a certain direction then ended up with this completely different than what I was expecting.. even made a video with it.. But it was a fun experiment | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wc1VMJuNNqY |
AMUC | Quantum Voyager | Electronic, Singer-Songwriter | I think I had the urban myth of 'backrooms' on my mind as I was writing the lyrics. There's something surreal about accidentally 'glitching' out of reality. | https://alonetone.com/amuc/tracks/quantum-voyager |
Big Rips | Wellness Check | Indie, Punk | Depression stuff as per usual. Will probably clean up or lose the power tapping when it hits the album. | |
Black Bear Black Sheep | Jack Square's Theme | Electronic, Metal | A character theme song for a video game | https://alonetone.com/BillyBear/tracks/jack-square's-theme |
Coyote Senate | Handwritten Letter After Many Quiet Years | Ambient, Folk | Trying to get back to a simpler format this month. Focusing on live loops, synth drones, and a pile of guitar pedals | https://soundcloud.com/coyotesenate/handwritten-letter-after-many-quiet-years |
David Thorley | Kamikaze Pilot | Blues, Jazz | Another messy song, written and recorded in haste. Wobbles out of control a couple of times. Next month's will get a bit more care and attention (I hope)... | https://alonetone.com/dalwynth/tracks/kamikaze-pilot |
Evil Suitcase | Beach Crowd | Pop | Originally I was aiming for a much different kind of song, but it went off the rails at some point and I ended up with this. Additional vocals by Patricia Wake. Should have probably called it (We Are) The Beach Crowd as a nod to Motorhead............ | |
Glytek Audio | Plesiosaur | Electronic, Dance | Electro-ey Acid, or Acid-ey Electro. Made with MPC One & TD-3. | |
Griza | Manatee | Metal | A song originally written about looming extinction at the hands of the endless greed of the human race, though it is instrumental, which makes that hard to get across. Two more REM tracks and I'll release them as an EP and get to work on my second album. | |
Jai Mohan | hush/ sing (lead me to the open grave) | Punk, Pop | https://jaimohan.bandcamp.com/album/hush-sing-single | |
lil bits | Lil Bits and the never ending gravitational pull towards insanity | Ambient, Electronic | Live coding session in TidalCycles | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7xWqz7J60o&list=PL83981dz4WdCTiMzgqwyzx-7sND6C07Pv |
LR Friberg | Oder Endlich Zu Spüren | Ambient, Electronic | ||
Luna Ponderosa | Not So Fast, Billy Ray! | Singer-Songwriter, Traditional | Here's a Western song, inspired by the RPG adventure of the same name. | |
Malady of Knots & fencepost | The Price of Stone 08 : The Devil's Causeway [edit] | Experimental, Field Recording | ||
mellow wınter | before the waves get warm | Classical, Ambient | Dreamy kalimba duet | https://soundcloud.com/user-145616674/before-the-waves-get-warm |
Mikey Hogan | Idling | Singer-Songwriter | Feeling like I'm not going anywhere or achiving anything. Having Covid isn't helping. But I found a nice chord progression. | |
Nimbostrata | Soilani | Ambient, Electronic | ||
Prince Joseph Dassah | Make Believe | Indie, Pop | Sorry about this track being corrupt at the August listening party. I had to resend the track this month. Hope you enjoy it. The Album therapy is out now on Audiomack, you use the link to the song to listen to the entire album. I also co-produced this track🧡✌️ | https://audiomack.com/princejosephdassah/song/make-believe |
Rob Parker | Keep it Together | Rock | It's pretty awful but it exists so it's a win. | https://alonetone.com/robertjames1971/tracks/keep-it-together |
Salman Ahad | Entrance to Salimor | Classical, Soundtrack | Wanted to make something inspired by the great soundtrack to Rings of Power, the new Lord of the Rings show. I took an arp pattern from the show and then used that as a starting point for this piece. | |
Savory Flakes | Guidebook | Rock | September is gone but it still haunts us! First time using actual speakers to mix, an ancient boom box might be better than fancy headphones. Superb Drumming by my constant pal Mike. | https://on.soundcloud.com/jtSUC |
Schmex | Toodew Medew | Synth, Field Recording | A stroll. | https://soundcloud.com/ro-steiner/toodew-medew?si=d2b8c8686334406288fa04814de191fa&utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing |
T.Z1 | Scorched | Electronic | Instrumental song made in garageband using various guitar, synth, bass and drum loops. Added some special fx thru bandlab app. Thx for listening! | https://soundcloud.com/tzonez/scorch?si=a109caf790e944e79e1e5ab04cc845b3&utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing |
TeeKayEn | Number | Dance, Electronic | WIP Juke/Bass Track | |
The Vague Miracles | Pieces of Babylon | Synth, Rock | just a little ditty about trying to get from earth to heaven when god doesn't want you to be there... | |
The Wizards of Vomit | hip. hip. hooray. | Guitar, Indie | This song celebrates guitars sounding like saxophones | https://thewizardsofvomit.bandcamp.com/track/hip-hip-hooray |
Thorsten Nesch | This will hurt a little | Singer-Songwriter, Country | I record 1 EP a month thanks to access to a shared studio space. THIS WILL HURT A LITTLE, we all been there. | https://nesch.bandcamp.com/album/this-will-hurt-a-little |
WXO | Here In Time But Nowhere In Space | Ambient, Traditional | The best way to learn an instrument is to write music to play on said instrument, so this piece serves the purpose of learning some guitar. I used real instruments as the basis for the rest of it. The beats are the stock built in ones from my PSR 72 Yamaha keyboard but recorded on the mic instead of through a cable. I use almost exclusively a cheap Dolphin Hammond Organ for the keyboards here. Some MIDI supports my vocals; I thought it would be cool to sing alongside a Vocaloid. The result is a relaxed yet raw and dark sound. Simple, but intimate. | https://wxokeys.bandcamp.com/track/here-in-time-but-nowhere-in-space |
