The RPM Challenge is a global creative challenge to record original music in February. Any genre, any length, any level of experience, anywhere. Tens of thousands of tracks have been made by people around the world as part of the Challenge since it was founded in 2006.

I tried using a variety of approaches from recording using Logic on an iPad mini, to creating ideas on Ableton Move, to improvising on Ableton Push and Roland SH-4d. The variety and challenge of the different methods made the process more interesting and the songs a little more organic.

Favourite Moment

Quickly mixing and mastering using VSX and Ozone 11. It was faster and more accurate than it's ever been before.

Advice

Sharing my recording experience on my YouTube channel was the right thing for both the channel and my motivation for finishing the challenge.
