I made an ambient/experimental album. It's special to me because I wanted to challenge myself to make a record using only field recordings, using sounds from my home and surrounding areas. To make this project, I used a portable field recorder to capture the audio, and then processed that audio through my modular synthesizer.
Favourite Moment
The whole process was pretty cathartic to me, but the first track, "Disconnected", got pretty emotional, calling my old home phone number to find it disconnected foreshadowed some events I rather not get into ha!
Advice
I learned that RPM has an excellent community and I can't wait for next year :)
