I recorded some songs using ideas that have been floating around for a while, some for years. Some folk, blues, and rock numbers. I sang and played all the parts, except for drums, into computer software. I used drum loops for the drum parts. I made it for the Challenge, but may perform some by myself or with my bands.
Favourite Moment
I had shelved a track, so needed another to make the 10. I used a musical idea I had in my head for years. I found some lyrics from years ago, finished them, and built the track - "Out of the Sun." I loved it, as did the drummer in my band.
Advice
Just do it! It's creative, stimulating, and fun! You'll never know what you can do until you try.
