This album was a simple idea: Test my new DAWless setup by filling a 90 minute cassette with any kind of sound I could fathom. That's exactly what I did, for better or worse. It's a mixed bag in terms of styles, but the baseline is extremely experimental.
Going DAWless was a huge step forward for me, as I was going through a bit of a creative block not being able to just hit record and jam. It was an ease of access thing. With a DAW I have to sequence, record, re-dub, etc... and I wanted to break free from that. So just being able to push something out in one-take whether it be good or bad was really refreshing.
Time management is very important. It's 3AM for me right now, and I'm not sure who's going to see this, but oh my lord guys do NOT stay up this late getting your project done...
