Aaron Parys | Atmospheric Crush | Electronic, Experimental | Electronic Music Track using the Combination of Hardware and software to Create this Track | https://soundcloud.com/aaron-parys/atmospheric-crush |
AMUC | She Dance for the All-Seeing Eye | Electronic, Singer-Songwriter | The track started with some cryptic lyrics that sounded sort of cool, and I tried to build everything else around that. Since 'dance' kept coming up, I added some old-school drum sounds. (I have a bongo here that I rarely use.) | https://alonetone.com/amuc |
Andrea Szirbik Groft | Go to the Forest | Folk, Singer-Songwriter | In a time of intensity at work, I kept walking out to my car and seeing the woods out back, feeling a strong desire to walk out there, slow things down and sort things out in the way that being in the woods always seems to help me do. The percussion is from items that I collected out in the forest and other sounds that I was playing with such as me breathing heavily. | https://soundcloud.com/groft-family-farm |
as always | pocket call | Guitar, Indie | reminiscing on those accidental late-night pocket calls, bringing back bittersweet memories, a past we can try to amend. a reflection on what it could be and what it really meant. waiting for a dawn to appear and caving for you. | https://soundcloud.com/as-always-2 |
Black Dragon Fighting Society | I agree | Electronic, Synth | A reworking of an older track for submission to a Bristol Synth festival | https://soundcloud.com/b-d-f-s/tracks |
Boschendal | Block Theory | Dance, Electronic | https://alonetone.com/boschendal
Caitlin Piper | A Song for Jean-Luc | Singer-Songwriter, Guitar | We lost our sixteen-year-old Boston terrier pug mix this year. His name was Jean-Luc and he was with me from college to building a family of my own. He was an amazing singer, friend and comfort. I wrote this song to remember and honor him. RIP Jean-Luc. | https://soundcloud.com/caitlin-piper-90687664 |
Coyote Senate | You Can Make It Through | Ambient, Guitar | Kept it simple this month with just guitar and vocals. This is about as close to singer/songwriter as I get these days. | https://soundcloud.com/coyotesenate |
David Dineen-Porter | The Sea is Green | Electronic, Pop | Sad happy song
David Thorley | Machine Against the Rage | Pop | The self-checkout machine contemplates a career change. | https://alonetone.com/dalwynth |
Dee_ | 432 (ornithomancy) | Electronic, Synth | I've been playing with solfeggio frequencies lately and wanted to try making something using the same sort of idea that wasn't full ambient. All the synths are tuned to middle A=432 (Serum),and I kept it in the key of A. I think it feels a little different with that tuning, but it could completely be placebo tbh! | https://soundcloud.com/k3nnyl0ginz |
DJ Ghia | Keep On Running | Electronic | Minimal upbeat electronic song with Garageband and Akai MPK mini | https://soundcloud.com/todd-warfield-199541239 |
Don Von Claude | Corsica | Ambient, Electronic | I made this track based on how I was feeling during the REM listening parties over the last couple months. I was definitely inpspired by some other works and the overall feeling of listening to all this music and feel like it translated into my next song here. Lots of fun with this one which I think made it come together pretty quick. Its a mellow track thats more focused on FX and ambience than percussion and beats. Hoping to catch a feeling of being some place relaxing. | https://donvonclaude.bandcamp.com/track/corsica |
Drone Orchestra | TRIDRONE | Ambient, Noise | Three drones, recorded independently and layered with light mixing. An ongoing experiment in drone creation--join Drone Orchestra by making a drone! | https://alonetone.com/CoyoteSenate/tracks/tridrone |
Evil Suitcase | Give The People What They Want | Rock | I had a bit of an idea that for some reason wanted to be a hippie jam song. Which seemed like it would be simple enough, plus I'm lazy, so I went with it. Although originally it was sort of acoustic and bongos, but it mutated.
First Born Sun | Moving On | Indie | This is one of the shorter pop songs from my upcoming album. | https://firstbornsun.bandcamp.com/album/a-bird-in-the-hand |
In_winter | when eyes are shut | Ambient, Guitar | A space guitar meditation | https://soundcloud.com/user-145616674 |
Kevyspice | Bless Your Heart | Jazz | Threw some canned MIDI piano parts from the EZKeys library on top of a drum part I recorded at my band's rehearsal studio earlier in June, then frantically recorded a couple of bass takes at the last minute and cobbled together the whole mess while my buddies were downstairs playing Pathfinder. The full version of the title, in my head, is "Bless your heart, you sure did try." :) | https://alonetone.com/kevyspice |
KV Schaefer | Two Astrologers | Folk, Singer-Songwriter | This is a song I've been banging around for about a year -- definitely a pandy creation. It's about a liminal moment in a healing journey; the persistent feeling of being existentially lost, even while supported by an abundance of resources. | https://kvschaefer.bandcamp.com/ |
lil bits | deerfox | Electronic, Soundtrack | another live coded tidal cycles track :) | https://helpimathrock.bandcamp.com/album/deerfox |
Luna Ponderosa | A Little Light | Pop, Ambient | While mixing the new album, I procrastinated by whipping up a new track. Sounds like a closer! | https://siralfrediv.bandcamp.com/album/permiso |
Malady of Knots & fencepost | The Price of Greed : Grenfell Tower | Experimental, Field Recording | https://lessthanone.bandcamp.com
Mikey Hogan | California Fire | Pop, Rock | I didn't have a lot of ideas going in to this - I wrote and threw out a bunch of different choruses and verses, not being happy with anything. I'm finally happy with this. I had the line "California's always been on fire" in my head for a year or so - it was great to finally write the rest of the song! | https://alonetone.com/MikeyHogan/tracks/california-fire |
Nate Monoxide | Yellowjacket | Electronic, Hip-Hop | Partly inspired by Cyberpunk 2077, Yellowjacket will be the title track for an album I've been putting off writing for years. | https://natemonoxide.bandcamp.com/ |
Nimbostrata | Illuminate (The Path) | Electronic | https://soundcloud.com/linfri
phog masheeen | Nice Things | Country, Experimental | A rumination on consumerism gone wild. A culture that resolves feelings of emptiness by purchasing as much cheap stuff as they can. | https://phogmasheeen.bandcamp.com |
Prince Joseph Dassah | Anti Social (instrumental) | Indie | Not in a singing mood this month, trying to strengthen my production, also not in the right state of mind
Rob Parker | Blame | Rock | Purposely simple but I think it sort of works. I kinda like this one. | https://alonetone.com/robertjames1971/tracks/blame-2 |
Roe Rocket | Lynzana | Folk, Electronic | Loopy based 10 minute scratch produced into a short track. Recorded with iPad mic. | https://ltwokay.bandcamp.com |
Safest Outbound Sparrows | Soon... Tomorrow | Spoken Word, Experimental | This track was another genre experiment, further pushing into shoegaze and post-punk inspirations. A little light on the chiptune, but I think the trade off was worth it. Excited to play with other combinations of this and my usual sound in future! | https://safestoutboundsparrows.bandcamp.com/album/soon-tomorrow |
Savory Flakes | At The Set Point | Pop | Press a button on an old mini Yamaha keyboard - make a really uncomfortable chord - head a direction which is the OPPOSITE way you've ever been - and throw in two count em two other instruments from the pile | https://on.soundcloud.com/1oo7M |
Schmex | Priests on Bikes | Dark, Rock | An act of contrition. Also, I'm gonna tell yo' mama. Featuring Christine Gambrell and the Riley Steiner All Girl Glee Gala. | https://soundcloud.com/ro-steiner |
Spice Rack Collective | She's Out Of Sight 'Cause I Don't Mind | Singer-Songwriter | June 17th, Leum brought to the studio a lovely, plaintive reflection on lost love. He recorded a solid first take, accompanying himself on acoustic guitar, then invited the rest of us to fill out the production as we saw fit. Margaret added some background vocals the same day, and we had a spare, lovely ballad. Of course, I (Kevin) couldn't leave well enough alone. :) After everybody else left, I recorded a couple of takes on drums and bass, added space for a lead of some sort, and tacked on another chorus. Later in the week, Kenny, Margaret, and I used a band rehearsal slot that would otherwise have been canceled to add a couple of electric guitar tracks, tambourine, and (on a whim) a keyboard sax solo! Margaret recorded one take, I recorded another, then I used some DAW shenanigans to pan them left and right and add a phantom harmony sax up the middle. :) Hope Leum likes what we've done with his creation! | https://alonetone.com/spicerackcollective/ |
The Vague Miracles | Under the Olive Trees, 1921 | Indie, Electronic | This song was based on the painting Conversation Under the Olive Trees by Henri Matisse. Chat GPT wrote the basic lyrics and then I changed them to make the song more of a story. Still working on learning how to master in Logic...
The Wizards of Vomit | One Tone Metronome | Soundtrack, Guitar | A had the idea for this song a long time ago, but never finished it. It still doesn't feel finished, but it's something at least. I used this song as soundtrack for a recent scifi short movie i made. | https://thewizardsofvomit.bandcamp.com/ |
Thorsten Nesch | Snowflakes | Singer-Songwriter, Indie | SNOWFLAKES will be the title song of my August EP - I release 1 EP a month since Jan. 2022. More and more electronic effects come into the foreground. | https://nesch.bandcamp.com/track/snowflakes |
Wilsun | Force of Nature | Indie, Pop | I wrote another dumb three minute pop song. What have I become? | https://alonetone.com/wng801 |
